MD/SR Java Software Developer

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Enterprise Account Manager, Technical Architect and Senior Client Systems Specialist to sequence development activities
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Innovation of existing infrastructure using new technologies
• Provide hands-on development
• Work in a great agile team making sure the software complies with our high internal quality standards
• Proactively engage issues and communicate smart solutions to the team and also product stakeholders
• Involvement in client communication

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
• Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Framework & Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of JPA & SQL
• Experience with message-based architectures
• Good knowledge of HTML & JavaScript
• Experience with developing secure application
• Experience with configuration management
• Degree in Computer Science or another technical/scientific field
• Very good communication skills
• Solid development practices and emphasis on code quality
• Teamwork and customer communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English both verbal and written

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of NPM and Angular or a similar framework / library
• Experience with containerized apps and container orchestration solutions
• Experience with IBM queues and ActiveMQ
• Continuous integration and deployment experience
